PADAUK's STORY

Padauk Classroom was established in June 2023 in response to the growing need for accessible, ethical, and context-aware education technology solutions in Myanmar. The initiative began with a strong focus on supporting disrupted education through digital literacy, AI literacy, and education technology integration for students, educators, and community-based education providers. Following its establishment, Padauk Classroom applied for and was awarded support through the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF). With this funding, the project was implemented to deliver capacity-building training, develop digital learning and information systems, and provide education technology consultation to institutions operating in challenging contexts. The grant-funded project phase formally concluded in December 2024.

After The Project Period

Despite the completion of the funded period, Padauk Classroom continues as a legacy initiative committed to long-term educational impact. We remain dedicated to advancing the responsible use of technology in education, maintaining open-access learning resources, and supporting the digital transformation of classrooms and educational operations. Through continued collaboration and community engagement, Padauk Classroom aims to contribute to a more inclusive, resilient, and future-ready education ecosystem in Myanmar.
